Rules of the Pack.

Please read the rules carefully, as we hold a zero tolerance policy.
1 ) All high ranking wolves are to be treated with respect. As this is a realistic pack; realistically speaking, you would not be hostile or quip-tongued to a higher ranking member.
Here is an example for people who like hard-ass, ill-tempered wolves: Kanji glared at the Alpha, and muttered, "I heard you the first time." She stalked past with her lip curled. She respected the alpha, but it did not mean she'd lost her bitter edge.
In the wolf world, actions speak louder than words. Body language is the first form of communication. The Alphas will read into your expressions and demeanor. If you come off as rude, you will be disciplined. If you do not accept discipline, this pack is not a good fit for you.
2 ) Post-cutting is not permitted. (Accidents happen, so do not worry if you unwillingly send out a post thinking someone else was finished)
3 ) It is preferable for your role play to be at least two posts long. We understand writer's block strikes at times, so an occasional single post is fine.
4 ) There are ranks that require you to meet a certain height limit. Again I will stress that we are a realistic pack. This means that if you're the size of a rabbit, you will not be permitted a fighting rank. If you wish to have a small character, they will lack in strength-- they will not be able to physically stand up to a wolf much larger than them.
5 ) Mating with a High Tier wolf will not earn a medium or low ranking wolf an upgrade in their rank. Whatever role you choose, you will remain with. This goes for mating with one of the Alphas as well. You will not become an Alpha yourself, or get special privileges other than the affections of the leader of the pack.
You are able to switch ranks within the medium and low tiers however. That is perfectly acceptable.
6 ) Role play is in Local chat. OOC (Out of character) posts are to be made in Group chat. If a friend of yours outside of the pack comes to visit, please speak with them privately in Whisper or in Party Chat if they are not participating in role play.
7 ) The pack is a group for your enjoyment. It is not your diary. Your IRL problems are not of our concern, so please do not bring your drama into the group. If you are feeling particularly upset, it is in your best interest not to log on and take out your anger on your pack mates.
8 ) Please consult Mali Vuk or any other high ranking wolves before attempting to make plot changes in role play. Such follows as humans hunting us, a rival pack confrontation, death, etc.
9 ) Being active is very important. Please inform us if/when you will become inactive. We would not wish to ban you unknowingly under the circumstances of you being on vacation or ill, etc. Let us know in advance!
10 ) Using all caps, spamming, making rude or annoying statements, anything that would in a group setting cause a disturbance, is prohibited. This is a mature group, and if you cannot contain yourself to not act out, you do not belong.
11 ) Cursing isn't completely banned from this group or from the role play, however excessive use is not permitted. Don't be extensive.
12 ) I'm not going to be a hard-ass about colors. We're semi-realistic, meaning no special powers, immortality and what not. Unnatural colors are fine so long as you don't look like a highlighter. If it's not blaring loud, it is fine by us.
13 ) Please don't be dramatic with your items. Blinkie shades and Swords in Mouth are a bit too unnatural for our liking. Be conservative with the items you choose.
14 ) You are permitted two characters within the pack, if you wish. We keep the number low because there are many cases in which a player will favor one character much more than they other. Juggling three or more characters can get out of hand. Please do not have two puppy characters. If you already have two characters in the pack and desperately want another, decide which character to be kicked from the group so that you have an open slot again.
